An energy company faced a long-standing challenge: most of its internal decision-making reports were created manually. Preparing them was highly time-consuming, as data had to be collected from multiple systems and sources, with no standardized format in place.
The root cause of this situation was a combination of historically entrenched manual processes, the limited capacity of the IT department, and the absence of an adequate system solution. Our client sought to automate the process of calculating incentives for sales representatives distributing the company’s products in the Czech market.

The project began with defining a clear approach to data processing. A centralized repository for all documents was established on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. This was followed by the processing of Excel files — the key inputs for the incentive calculation process. These files are automatically imported and stored in a database built on Microsoft technologies. Based on this data, a multi-stage calculation process is executed, ensuring accurate evaluation of incentives.
The solution is complemented by the AI tool Millada, which allows users to query specific details, such as individual sales representatives’ performance or other specific statistics. The result is a fully functional turnkey solution.
